Description
Rodeo is a modern Vehicle for Hire (VTC) application developed by Tech Fly, utilizing our default stack of Flutter for the mobile client and Laravel for the backend API. The app's core mission is to provide a seamless, reliable, and secure platform connecting riders with nearby drivers. Key features include real-time geolocation tracking using map services, dynamic fare calculation, integrated payment gateways, and dual-sided interfaces—one tailored for the rider experience (booking, tracking, rating) and one for the driver experience (accepting requests, navigation, earnings management). Rodeo was designed with scalability in mind to handle high volumes of simultaneous requests and ensure data integrity across all transactions.

Plan of Action
The development of Rodeo followed a structured, step-by-step approach. The initial phase focused on API Development in Laravel for core features like user authentication, ride request management, and database schema setup. This was followed by concurrent Flutter Mobile Development for both the Rider and Driver apps, integrating with the new API endpoints. A critical step was the Integration of Geolocation Services (e.g., Google Maps API) for accurate real-time tracking, route optimization, and proximity calculations. Finally, the project moved into Rigorous Testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing—UAT), followed by Deployment and Monitoring to ensure stability and performance in a live environment, with dedicated post-launch support and iterative feature development cycles.
